Since 2001 Chad Barker has been investing in Residential real estate. Having
purchased over 80 properties in that time, he has become an expert in this investing
niche. Chad's ability to bring together investor, investment and customer has
produced significant returns for his investment partners.
Trained at a software engineer, Chad has keen analysis skills that help him see
investment problems as well as potential.
Chad lives in Raleigh with his wife of 20 years and three children.

- Bart's practice area is in general civil litigation and extends to Landlord/Tenant

disputes, and Personal Injury claims. Bart has extensive experience with civil
litigation on both sides of the bench - he served as a Wake County Magistrate Judge
for four years before joining Hatch, Little & Bunn, LLP in 1986.
Bart graduated from the Virginia Military Institute in 1977 and went on to earn his
Juris Doctorate from the University of Richmond School of Law in 1981. He is licensed
to practice in all state courts in North Carolina and Virginia and the Federal District
Courts in the Eastern and Western Districts of North Carolina. Bart is a member of
the Wake County Bar and the North Carolina Bar Association.

- Kelly consults with us on business and entity structuring matters. After earning
earned her undergraduate degree from East Carolina University
and her law degree from UNC-Chapel Hill, she joined the firm as an associate in
1997. She became a partner in 2000.
Admitted to practice law in North Carolina, she practices primarily in the areas
of business law, commercial real estate transactions, estate planning, foreclosures
and tax-free exchanges. Kelly has over thirteen years of experience that includes
representing clients in front of clerks in several counties on a variety of estate,
guardianship and real property issues. Further, she has helped create and maintain
a multitude of different business entities and assisted in various business transactions.
Kelly is a tireless advocate for her clients regardless of whether she's negotiating
a simple lease or facilitating a complicate sale of assets. On the real estate side
of her practice, she has closed numerous tax-free exchanges and commercial real estate
transactions with a keen eye for detail.
She is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association
and the Wake County Bar. She is an active contributor to the Wake Forest Chamber of
Commerce, having served as Past Chair of the Board of Directors. She currently sits
on the Local Board of Advisors for North State Bank and on the Board for the Trentini
Foundation.
